Family Matters@School (FM@S) & Evidence-Based Programme (EBP) - Triple P

Research has shown that a child’s success is directly related to parental involvement, which helps the child to perform better in school and show positive attitudes and behaviours. As such, Innova Primary School has been on the School Family Education programme since April 2009. The programme has since evolved to FamilyMatters@School equipping parents and young adults with skills to nurture positive family relationships through a variety of parenting talks, workshops and family bonding programmes.

2017 has IPS on the Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P) as well. Triple P is a parenting and family support strategy designed to prevent behavioural and emotional problems in children, targeting at the P3 and P4 levels.

What does it offer?
Simple and practical strategies to help parents confidently manage their children’s behaviour, prevent problems developing and build strong, healthy relationships.
